Itsumi Tozawa
Itsumi Tozawa, (Sapporo-shi, Hokkaido) is a graphic designer specializing in branding and visual production. She is currently focusing on illustration, which she always wanted to pursue. As a university lecturer, she also mentors emerging generations, that help her explore new possibilities of expression. Her work seeks to evoke nostalgia and a subtle sense of wonder, mainly through customs of snowy regions.
北海道出身、札幌市在住。グラフィックデザイナーとしてブランディングやビジュアル制作に携わる一方、現在は、これまで十分に時間を割くことのできなかった、イラストレーション作品にも取り組んでいる。大学教員として後進の育成に携わりながら、表現の幅を広げ、新たな可能性を探求中。雪国の厳しさと風習を基調に、懐かしさと小さな不思議さを体感できるような作品制作をしている。
